Thanks Stephen! The spelling mistake is a product of being an international team, not all of whom are native English speakers. We have a number of spelling mistakes in staging at the moment that should be pushed to production very soon.
Thanks for reading our homepage blurb so closely! You UX guys are so good at attention to detail :)-

Crowd shots are a nightmare! Two ideas to solve itI have 5,000 photos on Polar Rose(!) and in some of them, buried way back, there are some crowd scenes with >30 people in each shot x 100 shots. Unfortunately now when I click on the 'name this person' button I get face after face of people I don't want to be bothered with. Clicking the skip button still means clicking that button at least 300 times.
What would be better would be either:
- a link in the "Who's this?" lightbox that says, "Delete this photo"; or
- a link in the "Who's this?" lightbox that says, "Don't recognize faces in this photo"

I'd like to be able to resize photo thumbnailsI'd like to be able to resize photo thumbnails with a slider control so I can see more photos per page, or fewer, bigger thumbnails
alan jones replied on May 15, 2009 02:58 to the question "remove unwanted photos" in Polar Rose:
It's an interesting privacy question, isn't it? Perhaps a better more scalable solution might be to allow bb2132131231231232 to email the Polar Rose user concerned and ask them to remove the images directly from the image search result page?
Knowing the other person's email address is reasonable proof that it is a photo of bb2132131231231232. Similar to the way LinkedIn lets me connect with someone if I already know their email address.
alan jones replied on April 25, 2009 07:15 to the question "How do I know when someone has bought a ticket from my store?" in posse:
When someone buys a ticket through your Posse store, it takes about 48 hours (two days) for the ticket booking agency to report the transaction to Posse, after which it will appear in your sales report.
We're working with ticket booking agencies to reduce this time lag to zero and we'll announce when we're making improvements.-

Do I need one licence per machine?Do I need a licence for each machine in my lab or one licence per company (multiple machines?) Because the USD/AUD currency conversion is a bit crushing right now.

Thanks for the feedback Kayla, please keep it coming! One request: can you try and summarise the nature of the problem in the subject of the message? For instance, instead of "Needs looking at..." this one could be "Let me browse through every artist on Posse". Doing that makes it easier for other users to find answers to questions.
We are planning to introduce a way to browse through all artists and all events, it should be live on Posse soon and I'll make sure we let you know when that happens.

I'd like to signup using my Facebook login so my friends can see I'm using SwapcoveAdd Facebook Connect as an option for signup. Getting new users to try a new marketplace product is difficult when the marketplace is still a little bare. With FB Connect as a signup option, friends of those users on FB would see that I'd signed up with Swapcove, listed an item on Swapcove, etc.
OpenID still sucks imho, but FB Connect is worthwhile.
