The Swede replied on September 16, 2008 16:29 to the question "order status" in Timbuk2:
Your order was placed on 9/12/08, right now we are on a bit of a back log, so our normal 2-3 days shipping is up to around 5-7. *see "goo in our gears" on order page at our website* With the back to school rush and our current online sale it's all hitting hard. But we are catching up and orders are shipping as quick as possible. Yours should be shipping out in the next couple days.

I'm afraid I'm not going to have any good news for you on this. Unfortunately we are out of the Large Commutes until September (yikes!) and the only color that we have in the ballistic material in large is black. Now for the good news, the Commute for Spring 2009 will come in four new colors in large, unfortunately this will not help you in the short term as these will not be available until around January of 2009. Hopefully you can find something that you like now or wait until the new stuff rolls out.
The Swede replied on June 25, 2008 16:14 to the question "Takin' care of hemp?" in Timbuk2:
Our best cleaning recommendations are on our website; http://www.timbuk2.com/wordpress_cms/...
This is a direct link and there is a blurb about caring for the Hemp and specialty fabrics that you can check out. Long and the short of it is that Hemp and similar specialty fabrics are best cared for with spot cleaning. As for the Scotch-guarding, if you feel really strongly about applying it, I would apply it in a small area to test it first before covering the whole bag, however if there are adverse affects directly related to this it could possibly void any warranty, so keep that in mind.

The Swede replied on June 20, 2008 22:40 to the question "Ebook bag?" in Timbuk2:
I don't think we will be making a specific bag for this item. Your best bet is to check out the Pork Chop which is not necessarily designed to carry a computer but size wise might be close to what you're looking for. We have them available in Hunter orange only and once those are gone they're gone. So check them out and if they look like something that'll work, buy it up.
The Swede replied on June 20, 2008 17:32 to the question "The zipless bag by Erica Jong" in Timbuk2:
We probably won't be able to repair the zipper, you can set up a return on our website www.timbuk2.com, but most likely we would issue a store credit for you to purchase something new. I would try to find a local seamstress in you area and see if they are able to do it first.

Well I checked your order and it indeed is in the system. However depending on the time of day you placed your order on 6/11 we do have a processing time of approximately 24-48 hours before shipping, It looks like your order should be shipping today or tomorrow given we're closed on the weekends, but if you don't see anything from UPS within the next couple days give us a call at 800-865-2513 and we'll see what's happening

I think after looking at your dimensions that the only bags that will fit well are going to be the Track or Underground back packs. Check them out at www.timbuk2.com
