the_undefined replied on October 19, 2009 09:05 to the problem "VirtualBox does not behave" in Irradiated Software:
VirtualBox provides an API to control the guest system which has some stuff related to screen resolution, but ... it would only fix one app at the price of probably hacking around it for quite a bit.
I'd rather see dynamic configurations for different screens first : ).
I canot imagine a world without SizeUp anymore!

VirtualBox does not behaveSun's VirtualBox (http://www.virtualbox.org/) does not behave. I'm using their latest version (3.0.8) with Ubuntu 9.04 and Guest Editions installed.
One problem is that VirtualBox will have exclusive keyboard acces by default. However, when I release keyboard access by pressing the Command key, SizeUp properly moves the virtual box window, but does not resize it.

A comment on the idea "Manage Partitions per Monitor" in Irradiated Software:
I'm dying to have this feature, without it I still need to manually arrange my windows on one screen. So whatever you can do to have it available one way or the other quicker - please do : )
Thanks a ton for working on this great project! – the_undefined, on October 14, 2009 07:48-

Manage Partitions per MonitorYou have no idea how happy I was when I found SizeUp today. I was googling for "Mac OSX Window Manager" and found an entry on stack overflow. Took me about 2 seconds playing with the demo to decide to buy : ).
Now since SizeUp has multiple monitor support, it would be very nice to define the Partitions (and maybe Margins) for each individual monitor. I could imagine a simple checkbox that says "Manage each Monitor" which when clicked reveals a drop down box to pick the monitor to configure. This would be incredibly awesome and I'd be ranting and raving about this tool on my blog (debuggable.com) - yes this is a friendly bribe !
Basically my setup is that I have my 17" MBP screen to the left and i'd like Safari to take up the first 35% with 2 Quarter Terminals taking up the other 65%. To my right I have a 30" where I usually just split Textmate at 45% and Firefox at 55%.
Alright, let me know what you think and if there is anything I can do to help with getting this feature!

Snap "Browser Window" to common screen resolutionsIf I resize the "Browser Window" component, it would be awesome if it would "snap" to sizes such as 800x600, 1024x768, etc. I find myself fiddling with hitting the exact sizes quite a lot.

Works perfectly! Thank you so much. I kind of dig this entire AIR installing / updating process.
Btw. I haven't expressed this anywhere else so let me just do it right here. I really love the application and I actually read pretty much all of your blog postings since day 1 (the archives from before you launched). Your success is really inspiring!

No problem : ), thank you so much for looking into this so quickly!
I actually am using the awesome shell integration now for converting all my mockup source files to png's.
It's probably not critical for most people, but while experimenting with that I also noticed that if you try to run the export while Mockups is already opened it doesn't generate the PNG and throws this error:
2009-01-06 19:38:28.144 Balsamiq Mockups[77287:10b] NSDocumentController Info.plist warning: The values of CFBundleTypeRole entries must be 'Editor', 'Viewer', 'None', or 'Shell'.
(However, I'm not sure if this error is related as I also get it during successful exports when Mockups is closed).-
