OK, I have uploaded the instructions for Safari. Now if you go to the get started page (http://www.shopfiber.com/getstarted) then you will see the Safari specific instructions. Thanks again for letting us know.

Thanks, Jim. Safari on Mac should work with the ShopFiber, we are just incorrectly detecting the two browsers as the same. I will be updating this later today and will point you to the updated page.
Chrome, by the way, is the new browser by Google (http://www.google.com/chrome). It is built on the same foundation as Safari, which is one of the reasons why the instructions thought you are using Chrome.

Mark, I haven't received an acknowledgment from the email that I sent yesterday. I have posted on the Lenovo forum, can you please reply to that?

Thanks for the quick reply, Mark. I was afraid that I would end up with that answer about the battery once the warranty issue was resolved. I guess that is OK, I will do some more research and purchase a new one.
What is weird is that the battery was lasting at least 2.5 hours the day before I started getting that message. Personally, I have never heard of the laptop battery "dying" like this. I tried the "battery recall" program and it said that this specific battery wasn't recalled. I wonder what could go wrong. The other weird thing is that the battery kept the 18% charge that it had for at least three days before it was drained to the current 1% level. So, I am wondering if replacing the battery will really fix the issue.
I have sent an email to the new email address that I was given (thinkpls_us...), let's see if they can fix the warranty issue. I will post back on the progress. Thanks again.

Farhan reported a problem in Lenovo on November 17, 2008 19:59:
Where did my warranty go?!?I bought two X60 tablets in March of 2007 and ended up returning one soon after I purchased it (closed box return). I had also purchased an extended warranty for the one that I kept. Interestingly, that was assigned to the system that I had returned. Around March of this year I got an email saying that my warranty was expiring, when I contacted Lenovo and had them fix the issue (proof of fix in email). Apparently, it was fixed, when it really wasn't. About a week ago the battery went bad so I called for support when I was told again that I had no warranty on this system. They transferred me to the entitlement department, after explaining the whole thing to them, the person said that he would be calling me back. Two days pass, no reply, I call again, go through the same process again, then get told again that they would call back, three days pass, still no reply.
Today I called again, go through the same process once again, but this time I am told to resolve the problem through email. Now it has been more than a week since I first contacted IBM/Lenovo and I am getting really frustrated because on one really knows what to do.
This was my first Lenovo, and probably my last one. For the amount that I paid for the extended warranty I could have purchased two batteries and not had to deal with this frustration! Now I am wondering once hopefully someone fixes the warranty issue what other crap I will have to go through before my tablet will be useful again.
