this is rediculous Ed. You are focused on creating tapdowns and not fixing the bugs in TTR3. This is unethical. Next time tell your CEO Bart not to lie and say to everyone that 3.1 has all sorts of improvements and stops hacking on Twitter, he was so wrong! You give a tweet if you are certain. Just fix it already come on!

it's always started off early If you haven't fixed the track, it needs fixing, otherwise I have an old version of it.. But that's besides the point. A rough estimate has things desynching by .1 seconds per minute played. Tried Busy Child, started missing notes by ear at around the 6 minute mark. I'll try to get you a more accurate calculation.

Update- the tappers lag behind the music by approximately .1 seconds per 75 seconds played. Anyone who has a track a little longer than 6:15 should start missing notes at the end if played by ear. – thebitingcat, on November 24, 2009 23:11

Tested it out on The Longest Road Easy/Hard, and Emotions extreme, found it to be closer to .25 to .3 seconds late at the 4 minute mark. In contrast, Keep Hope Alive Extreme starts about .5 to .6 seconds early, and still leads ahead by about .3 seconds at the six minute mark.

I concur. Though I'd put Free Bird easier than monsters (stupid overlapping tap zones) Grass-Hopper (stupid lagging hold notes), and then the genuinely hard ones. I still believe that for Scratch my Oscillators whoever created that tapfile was paying no attention to rythym, though I do find that some tappers match up with it. I'm sure once I actually spend more time tapping out those repeating segments I'll catch on to it. But I really don't like the track, and I just got a whole bunch of new songs to focus on, I may never get to it.

Same story with Spin Me Round.

Louder Than Boom I could FC if I focused hard enough as I seem to screw up a different area each time.

Monsters I could FC, but I really don't like rockabilly. Except for Brian Setser, he's okay.

And Id add that one Crystal Method track that's off sync by like a half-second.

For the scores that exceed The normal maximum, catchups can be a cause. Not only do they give you more points, but they also count as more than one tap. Getting some early in the track is possible, allowing you to reach an 8x multiplier sooner than other players without catchups. (as well as earlier 2x, 3x, and 4x multis.) Since they can get multipliers on taps that other people cannot without catchups, they may exceed the maximum score for perfect play. I've actually done this myself by being late on the first note and receiving two catchups before 50 taps had passed.

Bullet With Butterfly Wings by Smashing Pumpkins can be downloaded for free under certain circumstances. It is part of a six track song pack you can purchase, but is not normally available freely. Unless, of course, you're going to use it on Tap Tap Thursday like Foo Fighters...

Anyways, the circumstances required to download the track for free are the same as the ones to download the Coldplay and Lady Gaga tracks for free. Luckily the other tracks in the Smashing Pumpkins track pack seem protected from being downloaded freely, only BwBW seems to be affected. I'll update if I discover any others.
