i concur with all of @theblacklion's comments. I suspect the username/pwd is not being passed thus the URLs are created with no identity - this is what I am noticing too just now:
http://twitter.com/chinarut/statuses/...
http://twurl.nl/7pa0ug does not show up on:
http://tweetburner.com/users/chinarut
I really would like to track these hits quite dearly!!!!
i would be quite satisfied if I could "claim" my twURLs.

Yeah, this happens. Tweetburner will collect stats for links and export them via the API, but can't display the stats on its website it if hasn't picked them up for your profile. Hope they can fix this... – thefluffanutta, on July 08, 2008 16:03

Hi Tweetburner -
I added the Greasemonkey script and it's handy in that it will show me how many clicks a link has gotten, but I can't see any of the stats. For example:
hhttp://twurl.nl/t2w452 - I should be able to see the stats here: http://tweetburner.com/links/t2w452, but I'm getting your "We're sorry, but something went wrong" message. Since Tweetburner isn't grabbing ANY of my Twurls, I was hoping that I could see the stats on my links using the link provided by the Greasemonkey script - but I guess that isn't working either?
What gives?

theblacklion reported a problem in Tweetburner on July 03, 2008 12:12:
urls from api won't show up in statsi'ld like to have my blog posts posted to twitter using twitterfeed. unfortunately i can't view the stats of my urls - they won't show up. urls created manually after login work fine. i've already started a discussion with mario menti, who kindly gave me a link to your api http://tweetburner.com/api. there seems to be no login procedure implemented, as far as i can see. now how can we connect my urls-via-api with my profile on tweetburner? or have i misunderstood something here? :-]

All twitterfeed does is call the tweetburner API (http://tweetburner.com/api) with the URL to be shortened, and then appends the shortened URL returned by the API to the tweet (i.e. it's not doing anything special or clever).

after reloading the error-could-not-login-page from twitterfeed, it says that i'm already logged in. so login worked somehow. – theblacklion, on July 03, 2008 10:11

sure :). i've a blog at http://binaryplugs.blogspot.com and a twitter account http://twitter.com/theblacklion. then i've configured twitterfeed to use tweetburner for creating those nifty links. all seemed fine. creating an url manually worked and i could see the stats. twitterfeed scanned my blog and posted the article with the nifty url. but when i want to see the stats within tweetburner, the urls won't show up. i've also tried to get my hands on it by "hacking" the url, but i only get an error message. as of now i even can't login into twitterfeed :(.
i thought, that if i use the same username everywhere it might or should work. but if i think about it carefully... how could twitterfeed generate those urls and assign them to me without logging in with my uname/pw?
