Your computer is out of warranty. I'm amazed it lasted over twice as long as the warranty! Any computer made by a big company like HP is shit.

I have an HP dv5z CTO-1200 which overheats like mad. I sent 173 emails (back and forth) with HP and after a month and a half, got escalated to a case manager.

The case manager is ungrateful, but I got a replacement.

And it's in warranty.
