That sounds like it'll work for the majority of the books out there. That said, I just finished reading Heart of Darkness, which has three giant chapters.

It'd be great if I could post my progress reading books on my Kindle. Perhaps I could post the sentence count I'm? It's reported at the bottom of the screen and my understanding is that its normalized across font sizes and whatnot.

Velocity is awesome, why not show it more prominently?

The velocity widget in the public profile is a fantastic idea. Why not show it elsewhere in the application? I think it'd make a great little inline infographic!
