No more Dejumble for iPhone news...Do to Apple's tightening up of their NDA enforcement, we will not post any news regarding prerelease versions of Dejumble for iPhone. Once an update or release actually makes it to the AppStore, then we can discuss and post news about it. We can and will talk about what is planned and what may be coming, but exact details will not be posted.
For more explanations to this read here.

For now, we hope to see Dejumble for iPhone 1.2.0 hit the app store in the near future.
... Android is looking increasingly better and better ...

@agly
No it did not get rejected, (yet...) however it is getting increasingly difficult to submit updates. Apple has continually over the last weeks required more information, and yesterday they wanted me to re-upload the binary. Seems they lost the old one??? Anyway, I do plan on posting a summery of why its taking so long and why apple keeps delaying the process.

I looked into this and I don't seem to be able to replicate the problem myself. Are you searching using the top search bar or using a Smart Group? Also, have you clicked on the magnifying glass to the right of the search field and selected "Tags"? – allan, on September 19, 2008 15:24
A comment on the discussion "Dejumble beta 1.2.b7 - Sync Edition Released" in Thinking Code Software Inc.:
Yes, it will sync over WIFI as well as Edge/3G. Synchronization will require an free account and the signup procedure is simply done through the desktop version of Dejumble. – allan, on September 19, 2008 15:12

A comment on the question "How do you sync with the iPhone" in Thinking Code Software Inc.:
The version that includes sync (1.2.0) "still" has not been approved by Apple. Look for it this week. – allan, on September 16, 2008 05:07
A comment on the problem "iPhone 2.1 Update and Dejumble" in Thinking Code Software Inc.:
Yes, once approved sync and fixed issues will be available in version 1.2.0. Its sad that we have had a internal version that syncs fluidly for almost a month however do to the length of time it takes Apple to "approve" important updates let alone crucial bug fixes, users don't get the fixes for almost a week. I do apologize for the delay. We are finding it increasingly difficult to develop a quality iPhone application under Apple's restrictive delivery system (the AppStore). – allan, on September 16, 2008 05:06

We understand the inconvenience that this may cause our users. We have updated Dejumble to fix the issue, however do to Apple's update approval process this will take longer than it should. Our suggestion is to contact Apple and encourage them to speed the approval process up. It is really unacceptable, as we had no control over this update and what it did to the stability of our application.
The fix for this issue only took a couple minutes, however the approval process is long. This needs to change...

iPhone 2.1 Update and DejumbleDispute Apple's reports that the iPhone update 2.1 fixes application crashes, this is not the case for Dejumble. It seems like this update is is causing lots of problems for Dejumble. We are greatly sorry about this issue.

Extended trail periods for beta releasesThe next update to Dejumble for Mac will extend the trail period by another 30 days. Also each BETA update will reset the trail period. This will enable users to continue to testing Dejumble 1.2.0 while in beta.
