Does the +Work group still show in the iCal sync tab after a restart of Dejumble? – allan, on September 09, 2008 15:00

No, their is definitely a bug that is causing this issue. Is the group that was synced with Dejumble.com also synced with iCal? If so this is most likely the root of the problem. We are working on issues relating to syncing from iCal->Dejumble->Sync Server. – allan, on September 09, 2008 14:58

@joe, yes this version does use our push technology, however due to limitations of Apple's SDK, push sync is not yet enabled on our iPhone version. Version 1.0.5 coming to the iPhone store within a week, has support for over-the-air sync with the desktop version. So basically, while the app is running on the iPhone, all new tasks are pushed to it from the desktop. Any existing changes / new tasks that were added while the iphone app was not running will sync up at launch. The sync process is meant to be as seamless as possible and runs transparently in the background.
Once Apple's push technology is opened up for developers, we will defiantly be taking advantage of it to provide a complete push task system (great for coming collaboration features).
Push synchronization is fully functional across multiple macs.

Do you have the latest version 1.0.4?
We have no intent to steal money from people, and while we have made mistakes in the past (version 1.0.3), we rigorously test each submission to insure that it works flawlessly as advertised. Not only that, we ourselves use it for our own project management. Having 100s of tasks we have not had a single crash in the latest version.
While I don't what to make any excuses for the issues you are reporting, I do have to say that the iPhone SDK is a very new development platform. As such, some developers seem to be getting it just right, however, we are not alone with some of the issues that are occurring. Some of the bugs that plague the application are not even our own but are found within the SDKs from Apple. We don't believe in defending ourselves, and have not in the past, however I find this one deserves a response.
If you need a refund, Im sure Apple would give it to you.
Does anyone else have any similar issues with the latest release of the iPhone version (1.0.4)?

This is an issue we are working on. It has never really presented itself as an issue, but now that sync is available it is. Currently this issue also effects if syncing two computers with Dejumble and iCal and sharing groups between iCal and Dejumble. Until we address the issue its best not to sync both iCal and Dejumble across two computers (With Dejumble and iCal shared groups). We understand that this is a major issue and are working on it.
