A comment on the question "Is Green Smoke a safe alternative to cigarettes?" in The Vapor Cig:

    Paul
Sorry, but the Volcano e-cig is just another "me-too" 3 piece electronic cigarette with a separate atomizer. 3 piece electronic cigarettes are cheap and faulty and the fact is that they do not produce anywhere near as much vapor as Green Smoke does. Fancy names and hip packaging won't change that fact. Green Smoke's patented 2 part e-cig with a fresh built-in atomizer in every replacement cartridge ensures ease of use. It also ensures a fresh atomizer that produces massive smoke volume. That's why people pay more for Green Smoke. It's simply because it performs better and satisfies more fully. People who try Green Smoke are actually able to make the switch from tobacco to Green Smoke. Why do I dislike 3 piece e-cigs so much? Because 3 piece e-cigs leak liquid nicotine, the atomizer gets clogged and has to be replaced and because they just get frustrating when trying to get enough vapor.

I'm sorry, but Volcano is just another cheap 3 piece e-cig in a pretty costume.

People can check out the video of Green Smoke being introduced to club goers in Miami Beach for the first time. Check out the amount of SMOKE coming from the Green Smoke e-cig! That's why it's affectionately called the "Vapor Monster" by so many on the internet. :)

    Hi Kamal,

Electronic cigarettes, or e-cigarettes (e-cigs) are a very valid alternative to tobacco cigarettes.

Just like tobacco cigarettes, electronic cigarettes are not approved by the FDA. We are not allowed to market them as a nicotine replacement therapy, but no one can deny that a lot of people have used them to quit smoking.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that since tobacco cigarettes have over 4,000 chemicals in them (many of them cause cancer), that electronic cigarettes are a much safer alternative.

There is a lot of propaganda out there from Big Tobacco, Big Pharma and the media that is geared to scaring people away from electronic cigarettes. They say that nicotine is addictive and that until tests are done on electronic cigarettes, we won't know they are safe.

Here's the kicker though.... there have been MANY tests done on tobacco cigarettes and we KNOW they are NOT SAFE, but yet they are sold everywhere. So, to me, this is all a bunch of hypocrisy and it is easy to see through.

I would like to point out that many proponents of e-cigarettes say that the substance that is used to create the smoke-like vapor (propylene glycol) is a toxin in antifreeze. Well, it's not! That would be ETHYLENE glycol and that is toxic. Propylene glycol is a common food additive that is found in cake mixes and food coloring. It has been deemed to be safe by the FDA. It's what they use to create the fog from smoke machines that we all breathe in at concerts.

I recommend and promote the GreenSmoke Electronic cigarette because, in my opinion, it is the best all around e-cig on the market. It's got a 2 piece design with a fresh and clean atomizer in every replacement cartridge. It produces the most smoke and is the most effective at doing what it does: simulate the experience and satisfaction of smoking.

In the end it's GreenSmoke with water, nicotine and propylene glycol vs. tobaccco cigarettes with over 4000 chemicals, most of which I can't even pronounce.

    I'd rather be greensmoking.

Hi Rivkah. Excellent question! In fact, there was a recent medical study done by Health New Zealand Ltd. on the safety of electronic cigarettes. You can find the complete study in it's original PDF format with all documentation at this site:

    http://electricsmoker.blogspot.com

Look for the post entitled "New Study Concludes: Electronic Cigarettes Are Safe"

They are indeed a SAFE alternative to cigarettes.

Green Smoke goes one step further than the competition by including a fresh atomizer with each nicotine replacement cartridge. The others all reuse the same atomizer over and over. This is unsanitary and leads to dirty clogs which reduce the smoke volume. You will keep having to buy atomizers to remedy this problem.

Since you are able to smoke Green Smoke in no-smoking zones, you may be asked time to time about what it is. Green Smoke includes a membership card that alleviates the hassle of explanations about it's legality. This comes in handy and Green Smoke is the only one that currently includes this in the starter kit.

Overall, I am confident that you will not find a more quality product on the market. Green Smoke was designed with all the "little things" in mind. It truly is the best of the best.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any other questions, I would be glad to help you. :) In the meantime, check out our informative website at:

The Vapor Cig solved my smoking problems...
I work for it and this product is great for anyone who wants to save money, smoke healthier, and smoke anywhere where they cannot smoke regular cigarettes. It's a win-win situation all-around. I hope everyone checks this out. I'm not only the owner, I'm also a happy customer. :)

Add Copy and Paste/Download feature for NOTES please...
It's extremely difficult to copy and paste the notes into anything else! If you try to highlight the note, it highlights other things on the page or activates the "move note" feature. Very frustrating.

Me and my fiancee leave notes for one another and we like to save them onto our computer sometimes, but this is SOOO frustratingly difficult. I would like to save the "title", the note itself AND the date/time stamp.

Could you guys add a download feature or work it out where it's all able to be highlighted much easier? Just try to copy and paste a note yourselves... (the WHOLE thing with title, note and time stamp) and you'll see exactly what I mean.

I think others are probably facing the same problem and this would make it so much easier!

    Thanks guys... Love your service!!!

I would like to see 3jam.com text alerts integrated for drop io updates to out of the US numbers like Australia. I would like my fiancee in Australia to know when I put up a voicemail... not just to her email, but to her actual mobile phone. Can you guys integrate this somehow with 3jam? I know it could go through twitter, but that is SO confusing and I'm not sure it will work.

    Hi Richard,

What are you having a problem with specifically? I have a premium code and everything seems to work great. Me and my fiancee live far apart at the moment and we use it alot for voicemails and file sharing and also little notes back and forth. It even has email alerts and sms alerts.

If you are having a problem with it, list it and maybe I can help. I only know it works great for me. :)

What is "DROPCASTING" and when will we be able to use it??
Hi Guys, I love your service! It's unique and much-needed!

I've seen the link for "dropcasting" on the right side of the page and I was wondering when it will be availabe to use. I tried to click the link and it doesn't even load anything up. Just a blank page. Can you guys post something there that at least tells us what it is and how it works?

When will this be available for use? I have a successful podcast at truthstream.podomatic.com over at podomatic. I want to stop using them because it's expensive and they keep messing my account up. Drop io would be much simpler.

Can you explain it and when we'll see it added to the site?

    Thanks!

Is Twitter still doing SMS alerts (free) for NSW, Australia?
Is Twitter charging for SMS alerts to NSW, Australia? I'm confused as to whether they are charging there or not...

I know they mentioned other countries were being cut out, but I want to know if SMS alerts are available for free in the Newcastle, NSW Australia area. I don't want to turn it on and find out there are a bunch of charges later on.

    Can someone help?
