Thijs Jacobs replied on February 01, 2009 02:02 to the question "How do I uninstall Juice?" in Linkool Labs:
Hi CTD! Thank you for getting in touch. You can uninstall Juice by going to the following menu:
- Select Tools
- Select Add-ons from the Tools menu
- Select Juice from the add-ons list
- Click uninstall
- Restart the browser and you're set
We're sad to see you go and hope you'll give us another try in the future.
Thijs Jacobs replied on February 01, 2009 01:48 to the idea "Search form" in Linkool Labs:
Dear Pierre, thanks for your idea and especially the extra effort of mocking it up in a screenshot.
Juice already allows you to search directly in the sidebar, by changing the search engine in Firefox' search box (see attached image).

We're thinking about how to improve this and allow you to type queries in the sidebar without having to switch search engine. We hope you enjoy using Juice.
Thijs Jacobs replied on February 01, 2009 01:39 to the problem "Drag from a textarea element does not work." in Linkool Labs:
Bonjour Lespacedunmatin! Thanks for reporting the problem. The drag & drop event is actually not supported by default in Firefox, as it allows you to reorder text within the textarea. We are working on a solution, where you can still use the right-click context menu (after highlighting) to send a query to Juice. I hope that helps; we will report back here as soon as we release a version, that includes the fix. Hope you're enjoying Juice!

Hi! We're first going to release an interim version, which addresses some minor video issues, before we roll out version 0.2, which includes a master switch for drag & drop. Considering the Chinese New Year is just around the corner, we're not sure yet, when we'll be able to push the release out. Hope that helps. – Thijs Jacobs, on January 21, 2009 04:44

Thijs Jacobs replied on January 09, 2009 04:54 to the problem ""We're sorry, this video is no longer available" problem for Youtube video still exists in Juice 0.1.7." in Linkool Labs:
Ai! That's not pretty. Our tests show that Juice 0.1.7 fixed this issue. Could I ask, where you were dragging the videos from (which site?). Sometimes there is a parameter attached to the video on that specific site that breaks the playback function at a later time. Thanks for your time; we hope we can get a fix out to you asap.

Thijs Jacobs replied on December 30, 2008 07:29 to the problem "Disabled for embed videos not embedding in Juice" in Linkool Labs:
Well Fred, :) Welcome to the engineering community!
Technically Juice can embed any flash video. But, by using Youtube's API and other parts of YouTube we're bound to their regulations that restrict embedding of these "disabled for embed" videos.
We will always continue to review said regulations, so this may change at any time.
