Hi Fred, thanks for your feedback!
We love the idea and we have explored this quite a bit in the past.
But unfortunately, it would require the video provider (say Youtube for example) to send a signal to Juice, that would indicate if a video is playing or not. We're working with some of the video providers, but we're totally dependent on them. I'm not sure, if we can introduce this feature any time soon; I sure hope we can.
Thanks for using Juice! We hope you like it.

Dear Rick, thank you for getting in touch.
In our tests, we had no issues running Juice on Firefox 3.0.5.
Could we ask, what it it exactly, that you are experiencing? Also, could you tell us, which Operating System (Firefox behaves different on certain systems) and which version of Juice (Tools > Add ons) you are using?
Thank you for your time!

Hi bestest future evangelist :)
Thanks for using Juice!
You can always click the Juice icon in the top right to open or close Juice (see the attached image).
Which version of Juice are you using? You can see this by clicking "Tools" and then "Add ons" in the Firefox menu. Version 0.1.2 (the one that is available at addons.mozilla.org) remembers if Juice was open or closed and will display Juice accordingly, which, we learned, was annoying to some users as they preferred it to be always hidden by default.
As of version 0.1.6 we started hiding Juice by default, I think you'll like this. Juice 0.1.6 is available at http://juiceapp.com

A comment on the idea "Review process on addons.mozilla.org" in Mozilla:
Thanks, but not so fast. :) The addon is already Active and Public. The update however is sitting idle and pending review (in the Sandbox). I can imagine, you have a backlog, but that's not helping developers, who made Firefox their home and are trying to get fixes out to their users. – Thijs Jacobs, on November 27, 2008 08:21
Thijs Jacobs shared an idea in Mozilla on November 27, 2008 08:02:
Review process on addons.mozilla.orgEven though we always try to fix issues (reported by users) as soon as possible, the review process on addons.mozilla.org doesn't seem to be able to keep up. One week (and longer) after submitting a fix, new updates remain unreviewed and thus unavailable to the user.
And that's a shame! I fully understand the testing process involved and have great respect for people devoting time to reviewing addons. But maybe Mozilla simply needs another approach.

We're very happy with Get Satisfaction as well; pretty easy gateway for talking to our Juice users. Keep your suggestions coming, we're always looking for ways to improve Juice. – Thijs Jacobs, on November 27, 2008 00:54
