under appreciated web site... has a lot of old TV from 1948 up... stuff you can't find any where else. I'd really happy to have access to this on my Apple TV. I hope everyone, checks it out and gives it chance. (Hint: when search, just pick a category and leave the search box blank and hit search... it returns list of the stuff in that category) [also make such click digital archives so it only returns stuff you can watch online]

It seems if we were able to define plugin and app directories, in particular put them on a network drive, whether a computer's hard drive or an external drive it would allow us to update the Apple TV a lot easier when it comes to adding plugins and add ons for an example BoxeeHQ. We wouldn't have to ssh into the Apple TV everytime we wanted to add something.

Also if you have several instances of Boxee running, for example one on Imac and Apple TV if you had both of them pointing to a network drive you could update them simultaneously...

Use Alexa as blueprint for app and plugin creation for future releases

Base additional content apps based of alexa rank to get a more broadbased interest barometer than possibly the miconiche of really early adopters in the alpha stage may represent. The fact that we are early adopters our interests may be little different than the general public that would make up the majority of the users. Aside from that using alexa or similar service to create content apps would speed things up, for erasing the need of figuring out what to do next and getting down to the business of coding. I started making a spreadsheet based off the video content provider list that is in the forum and can continue to finish it if it helps you guys out
