Thomas Nielsen started following the problem "Songbird displays multiple genre tags incorrectly." in Songbird.

Okay, I have tried setting a few colours. The last row is really just a 10% desaturation (HSB) of the row above which is the one I am after. I can rearrange the rest if you like, but not until tomorrow.

The CMYK values are from left to right:
0,90,100,0
50,0,100,0
70,55,0,0
100,0,0,0
45,0,0,0
0,100,0,0
10,15,100,0
30,0,100,0

Wonderful. The problem is really quite simple, in that the colours that exist in the palette already are somewhat harsh. I would like some colours that fit better with the overall look and feel of the mockups and even more importantly, fit each other :-). Since there are as many opinions as there are users, I think adding one custom colour rather than changing the palette itself would be the easiest solution pleasing most users. I would certainly be happy.

User defined colours for canvas/rectangleThe colour picker for the rectangle/canvas is a bit limited in its selection. Would it be possible to pursuade you to implement a custom colour, i.e. RGB values or something similar?
Thomas Nielsen replied on October 28, 2008 21:34 to the question "Remote control one Songbird from another" in Songbird:
No, it is not quite what I had in mind. I want [could I have my way] one computer to run Songbird in some sort of server mode (or slave if you will) and another as client. The server is the one actually playing the music the other is controlling it, mirroring the UI of the slave.

So what I am suggesting is in fact a relatively complete remote control.

Remote control one Songbird from anotherIt could very well be that I overlooked something but one thing that I really miss is the ability to have one Songbird player connect to another and remote control it.
Example: Have Songbird running on a computer connected to a stereo system and shove it in a cupboard. Use another computer running Songbird to connect to it and remotely select what to listen to and have the cupboard-exiled computer play the tracks through the stereo. In other words; mirror the commands from the "passive" Songbird instance and pass them onto the "active".
