Sounds interesting, but wouldn't this be better implemented as a firefox addon that would highlight spelling mistakes on all/some sites?

I can't see the particular benefit of implementing this in ubiquity. Surely the "define" command is more than enough?

Using mythbox you could listen to localhost for the myth server stream and do it that way, providing you need it on the localbox.

Sounds like a good idea. Currently all my miro vids are in my "TV" folder on my share that boxee accesses. The ability in boxee to read a miro db and display the unwatched vids would be great. Also, given I have a number of miro settings such as - delete within 2 days of watching this non invasive db reading and updating would not interfere with them.

Integration with APT or other package management system would be the best way to do this in Ubuntu as it helps to maintain dependencies. But given that a number of the users are running it on a box lacking a windows manager (i.e. no Gnome, or KDE etc) then it would require a script running on the command line. Although, I realise "su -c 'apt-get update && apt-get upgrade'" isn't the hardest thing to do, the simpler it is the better. /My 2 cents.
