    Thanks Tony, finally I've found a "Getting Started" page that answers some of my questions, including re tagging. Yay!

    But can I *strongly* recommend that you put a link to this page prominently at the top of your help docs page?

    And also include it as the first link on your "Hi RescueTime Newbie" panel.

    I got to Help Docs via the Help link at the bottom of the RT dashboard page and spent quite some time in there (no doubt RescueTime will tell me exactly!) searching for quite basic information to help me get going. And I spent still more time poking around this forum before I got to this old question and the link to the Introduction page, which I'll have to bookmark, since I can't find a link to it from the Dashboard.

    Finally, I'm going to mention it here, because it might be related. The nifty pop-up help button at bottom right of the page shows up when I'm here:

    But it doesn't appear when I'm logged in and looking at my own dashboard.

    Can we have a proper manual please?
    Can we have a better manual, with real-life examples for RescueTime? The help docs are minimalist, at best, and the way they pop up on screen doesn't make for easiest reading; hunting around on a forum (especially this GetSatisfaction one) is not very efficient.

    I pick up new tools and apps pretty quickly, but there are many things about the RescueTime dashboard and settings that are not very intuitive and I think a more solid manual/introductory document would go a long way to helping me get my head around how I can make it work for me.

    How to change initial ranking of category groupings?
    When you sign up, you're asked to nominate three category groupings that are productive and three that are not. Obviously, if you're not fully aware of how RT works in detail you might not make the best choices here. (Also, in my case, my work isn't completely conventional and so doesn't fit neatly in the category groupings provided.) My questions therefore: How do I get back to that screen to change what I nominated? And do I need even need to (i.e. do they have any impact on the tracking/reporting that goes on or are they merely for user-survey purposes)?

    I like this idea, but if you implement it, make it flexible! Not all countries follow the same dates as the US for the taxation year (some go from 1 July to 30 June of the following year, for example) so you need to be able to set the dates you want to report.
