A comment on the question "Error Message "No internet connection"" in Soocial:
Bart, I waited to see if the next server update was going to occur. It's been a month and in the meantime I installed Windows 7 and a completely fresh install of everything. Loaded the toolbar and indeed it has been doing a LOT of duping. Now that said, I still don't think it's updating anything on the Soocial website...at least it doesn't say updated on the Outlook connection thing on the website.
I STILL get the same error as above like other people are mentioning with the sync icon stuck on sending contact xxx of xxx status.
Shouldn't it sync and your sync server just kick it out into an error log and complete the rest? – Thomas, on June 03, 2009 00:47-

Definitely getting all the symptoms in this thread.
Using XP, Outlook 2007. Turned off Windows Firewall--no other firewall, disabled Plaxo addin, CAN logout and login to Soocial via addin.
Syncs finish according to status window in addin and show same last sync msg as days ago, yet toolbar status shows likes it's hung (sending contact x of x).
What can I try next?
Do you think things like antispyware i.e. Spybot might get in the way?
....doesn't seem I can get a log to you via the support utility, so I'll at least send my login to you via email.

I believe this MAY be the same issue. Where can I get the log file you want? I use XP, Checked Application settings for Soocial and Outlook and don't find a log.
First sync was fine and has been fine for weeks. Added Highrise connection last night AFTER I imported some 1000 contacts to highrise. Highrise worked fine. I noticed the Soocial Outlook sync working on doing a sync for a long time...over 1000 records.
No apparent error messages, although Soocial status window in Outlook still says Last synced: Today at 4:32pm and the tray icon tool tip says "sending contact 138 of 412". Clearly there is something hung because I've done some 4 updates since then and can't seem to clear the message, although Soocial website says correct last sync date/time. It is indeed not receiving changes when I planted a test change in a contact via outlook and in a contact via soocial
