Can you open the "uploads" window (double click the up-arrow in the status bar of the wuala window)and check that the file doesn't show up there? Putting something into the Wuala UI doesn't upload the file, it just puts it into the local cache and schedules it for later upload.

Are you uploading the file through Wualas backup functionality or do you put the changed fiile by hand back into Wuala. I'm not sure what the backup stuff does, but Wuala in general looks at the content, not the size or modification date. So I guess this should work.

I appreciate that you're trying to help us. It's just that we're having trouble to reproduce the problem, so I'm trying to find out what we're doing differently. Where in the Wuala UI are you dragging the file? To the tree view? To the main area? Which folder?

I just started Wuala from our website, Win 7 Final, 32 bit. Dragging a file from Windows explorer to the /My Files/Documents in the Wuala UI works for me. What is the scenario that gives you trouble?

I suspect that someting is wrong with the java install. I'd try to run "java -version" from a command line in the java install "bin" directory (usually in "Program Files\Java\<java>". If that doesn't work, it's time to reinstall. </java>

32 or 64 bit? What java version do you have installed? If you start Wuala.exe from a command windows, do you see an error message?

I verified that dragging into Wuala works for me in Win 7 RTM. Dragging out of Wuala requires the File System Integration to work, which is not the case in Windows 7. Stay tuned...

Ich würde aber auch nicht zu viel erwarten. Wuala bleibt ein System, das auf das Internet zugreift, da gibt's halt auch mal einen Timeout. Wenn ein Client-Programm nach einer Sekund beschliesst dass es jetzt einen Timeout hat, können wir nicht viel machen.
Entschuldigungen, Entschuldigungen...;–) Wir wissen schon, dass die FSI nicht nur das Gelbe vom Ei ist. Das ganze ist aber, besonders unter Windows, kein ganz einfaches Thema (siehe die Probleme von Samba-Servern mit Windows 7, zum Beispiel).

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe hat das Problem das ursprünglich geposted wurde aber nichts mit der Filesystem-Integration zu tun? Oder versteh' ich da was falsch?
