Thomas Naeff reported a problem in Wuala on October 21, 2009 12:33:
Image download shows only half of the imageI have problems sometimes when downloading pictures. The thumbnails show that the complete picture is on Wuala.
When opening it in Wuala, the picture gets downloaded and opens, but it shows only about half of the picture. Clearing the cache and downloading it again does not change anything. I also tried to download it to the cache first and then opening it in Wuala.
However, if I use "download to...", I can open the picture on the new location without problem and it shows the complete thumbnail (but I also had problems lately that they were not downloaded completly). Even tough the file is in the Wuala cache and it shows only half when opened in Wuala, it is fine when opening outside of wuala.
When browsing through the mounted drive, the thumbnail shows only half of the picture and opening also shows only half of it.
It doesn't happen with every picture. Only once in a while. Sometimes restarting wuala and downloading the picture again works.
I use it on Ubuntu 9.04. File browser: nautilus

My intention is that the drive shows up as "direct" everywhere, which is not really nice (I also tried to mount it in ~/wuala/Wuala, but this doesn't work either) Furthermore, having it in /media/Wuala makes more sense to me since it is a drive. Also when i want to do a home-folder backup I don't want to back up the whole wuala drive (I know I can exclude it, but it would just be nicer).
A comment on the problem "File system integration on ubuntu 9.04 "not ready"" in Wuala:
Hmm, is it maybe related as written in this FAQ? http://getsatisfaction.com/wuala/topi...
"If there is already another NFS server running on your computer, you can avoid conflicts by starting Wuala with the option -noportmapregistration that lets Wuala skip registering its server with the portmapper. In that case, you need to add additional mount parameters in the /etc/fstab entry: nfsvers=3,mountvers=3,port=26184,mountport=26183. Unfortunately, bypassing the portmapper does not seem to work with Ubuntu (we don't know why, if you know more, please let us know)." – Thomas Naeff, on October 17, 2009 12:16
Thomas Naeff asked a question in Wuala on October 17, 2009 12:06:
Ubuntu file system integration in /media/WualaIs it possible to have file system integration in /media/Wuala instead of ~/wuala/direct? I already tried to give the same user and group permissions to /media/Wuala like ~/wuala/direct has, but it is not working.
fstab:
localhost:/wuala /media/Wuala nfs defaults,users,noauto,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=60,acregmin=10,noac,intr,nolock,soft

File system integration on ubuntu 9.04 "not ready"I am having problems with file system integration for a while now on my ubuntu 9.04. Everything worked fine a while ago. Also mounting manually with
sudo mount -t nfs localhost:/wuala /home/me/wuala/direct/
fails with the message
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting localhost:/wuala
The file sytem integration log on wuala shows
Debug log initialized
Starting server Mount ...
Starting server NFS ...
fstab looks as follows
localhost:/wuala /home/me/wuala/direct nfs defaults,users,noauto,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=60,acregmin=10,noac,intr,nolock,soft
Any idea if that is a wuala-problem or a problem on my system?
