That's odd. Things have been very stable since a couple-three weeks ago's fixes. Could you possibly send me the URLs for each of those items that didn't result in reminders and I'll be glad to hunt down the issue. (If you right-click or control-click the name of the item in any list on Sandy's site, you'll be able to copy the link and can then paste it into email.)

Please do send that on to help@iwantsandy.com and be sure to mention that you're "alexcyu" in the note so that I make the connection.

I had two reminders scheduled for 6am that didn't arrive.

I also made a change to the text of a weekly reminder. When the next reminder arrived, it was the old, pre-change version of the text.

And thanks for that link Kevin, I didn't even know that was there www.iwantsandy.com/email . And no, Sandy isn't receiving the emails... I don't think its getting forwarded because this is definitely a Gmail issue but I have not gotten any help on it. – ThunderBoy, on July 18, 2008 20:57

Thanks both Kevin and Rael, I definitely appreciate you following up (although it got me obsessed with trying to resolve the problem again and i wasted another 2 hours ;) -- Unfortunately or fortunately for RD this is definitely not a Sandy issue, it is a problem in Gmail. I only have one other forwarding filter from Jott to Stikkit. That one seems to be working... but I can't get to work ANY NEW forwarding filters. No idea what's the problem. Have you solved this yet? Have you considered that your emails might be forwarding, but Sandy is just not understanding them? Check http://iwantsandy.com/email to see if Sandy's receiving your forwarded emails. Hi folks.

While we did indeed pinpoint where this was happening the last time it did, it seems we hadn't completely solved the issue. I'm working on it now while Sandy is chewing through, catching up on those reminders and daily digests that didn't make it through the queue earlier today.

I'm terribly sorry for the interruption of service and will post with further updates shortly.

it'd be awesome to be able to text sandy directly more easily, but the twitter method does work pretty well, so it might not be worth the trouble.

mine is working okay right now ... started again the day after i left this comment, actually, but i can't say i'm particularly confident it'll be fixed forever ...

It seems there was a slight snafu in Sandy that Rael has fixed.. As such, alot of reminders were late yesterday (I got mine at 3am this morning)... Should be working again now.

The fact that these threads still get responses after al this time suggest to me that a lot of folks feel like I do: Stikkit had so much more promise than Sandy currently does. Sorry, not trying to be a troll, but that's how I feel.

Hi again.

We've finally pinpointed just when this happened and found the commonality with the last time this happened a couple of weeks ago. With that in hand, we'll be making sure it doesn't happen again.

In the meantime, Sandy is back in the saddle and reminders are working once again.

Hi Thunderboy,

Sandy appears to have had some trouble sending some reminders and digests again.

She's chewing through them all now and will be caught up very shortly.

I'm not sure why this happened (it doesn't appear to be the same problem as last time) but I'm looking into it and will post a follow-up as soon as I know more.

Same problem... Shows up on my daily digest but not as an email at the set reminder time...used to be fine. I haven't changed anything. In fact, it worked again for one week in the middle and I thought everthing was back up...but to my looming chagrin...Not!

They worked in the middle for one week after all the recent brou-haha and the ensuing commotion. But this friday no weekly reminder again.

No Man, Everything was back automatically last friday I got an email reminder and then again this friday none... that weekly reminder was only back up for one week.

Forgot to do it again this week and now going back to post-its....
