aha, i don't have that many yet so popularity is equal for all of them (all 1 star) and then things get ordered by date it seems. maybe it should be descending where it now seems to be ascending though. small thing but beauty is in the details right? :)

how does the ordering work for the questions shown in the widget? for some reason the feedback widget i'm using on http://fresh.li keeps showing the first three questions asked instead of the last three which would make a bit more sense...

aha! ik dacht dat je werken uit een van de sections bedoelde. er gaan twee dingetje mis:

1) op de about me pagina link je naar een jpeg met een spatie in de naam, sommige browsers (zoals safari) kunnen daar prima mee overweg maar internet explorer snapt dat niet dus laat het plaatje niet zien.

oplossing: het plaatje hernoemen naar een naam zonder spatie erin en dan de img link op die pagina aanpassen op fresh.li

2) op de cv pagina is het plaatje een pdf bestand. hoewel safari die gewoon als plaatje kan openen is dat vrij uniek, in de meeste browsers kan je alleen gif, jpg of png bestanden openen als plaatje in de browser.

oplossing: een jpg van dat pdf bestand maken en eveneens even de img tag aanpassen op die pagina.

overigens kan je wel een link -naar- een pdf bestand maken (zodat iemand hem kan downloaden bijvoorbeeld) maar je kan ze dus niet gebruiken als plaatje...

Ik heb even gekeken in Internet Explorer 7 maar ik kan geen foto's vinden die het niet doen. Zou je me een linkje kunnen sturen naar de pagina's die bij jou niet werken? En welke versie van explorer op welk besturingssysteem (b.v. windows xp of vista) gebruik je?

Your almost there! I guess i should have mentioned in that other example that you should not literally copy the braces son instead of:

<img src="{http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2922027/About...}" />

It should be:

<img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2922027/About%201.jpg" />

And that should work fine. Perhaps, since the image is quite big, you might also want to add the width attribute to resize the image to a size that fits the page such as 400 pixels wide like so:

<img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2922027/About%201.jpg" width="400" />

i'm afraid we currently don't support that feature. i guess you could create different portfolios for each language and link to each from page for instance. That would be a bit of a roundabout way to solve it but there is not much demand for this feature so for now it's probably your best bet.

Hoi Marloes, Bedankt dat je het even laat weten. Er was inderdaad iets mis gegaan met de laatste update maar het zou nu weer moeten werken!

I had the same problem with only the first entry loading what i did is edit the httpd.conf instead of the vhosts file to add the namevirtualhosts line. which would look like this:


# Virtual hosts
NameVirtualHost *:80
Include /private/etc/apache2/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf


that works like a charm for me...

Hi Marianne,

To place an image or an mp3 file on a page you will need to upload it somewhere else then fresh.li and then create a link to it on the page you have made in fresh.li. There are lots of options around to host your files. A good one is http://dropbox.com

you simply place the files in the public directory of your dropbox and then copy paste the public link to the file.

For an image you can use the Markdown tags that are explained next to the page editor or simple html:

<img src="{the public url of your image}" />

For an MP3 file you can simply create a link to the music file and it should play in your browser when clicked:

<a href="{the public url of your MP3 file}">the title of your link</a>

In the same way you could create links to PDF files or even video's.

Hi Barbara,

I've sent you an email regarding this issue but to recap; i've checked the logs and it seems you hit the delete portfolio button yesterday evening. Since we don't keep per portfolio backups (only system wide ones in case of emergencies) i'm afraid you'll have to signup again and recreate your portfolio.
