Hey Evan: it is interesting that you bring this up at this time. Was about to compose some more input about Jack Daw's Beta FLOCK and results that I am getting have been good. The photo uploader is working. The whole thing, kitn'caboodle did not work again, tho, until I uninstalled xpclucen. Why is that included?

When Flock opens and MY ACCOUNTS, the native's like twitter, facebook, youtube, etc. to FLOCK are turned on and some point I visit Facebook, FBook seems to really be getting TOO MUCH information from my YouTube account. IN my Facebook MINI-Feed for the past several days, I have had my favorited youtube activities included in mini-feed repeatedly with the same content 10 times in a row or more. SO I delete them off my mini -feed, which is a Facebook option, but everytime I open FLOCK and youtube account is active the activity appears on my Facebook again.

SO it seems only natural that the features you discuss are here and now with the native accounts to FLOCK. Yea or Nea?

Great idea but if it bots and spams the heck out of my FACEBOOK or any other account it will be irritating.

PS: the application you are discussing seems to be almost a fully realized function of the activity logging on site at mybloglog.com. Is this similiar to your approach?

Desktop for Vista Duo Core 64 bit editions?

Hey there google: what is happening in development of Google Desktop for my specs? It seems no one can Q&A and tell me what is uniquely designed software for my specs except gamers. Did I buy an unsupported 'Edsel' of computers several years ago? I did not even pay attention to the 64 bit specs when I ran XP cause everything seems to work but I never tried Desktop then, either. ANYHOW, I tried the ENTERPRISE edition also and was rejected again with message stating no support for 64.

So should I expect progress soon? Did I overlook a download? Should I just move on?

Just a wonder about the time it takes to receive a blog confirmation email? Why the up to two days wait? I just registered a blog an hour ago. Guess will have to wait and cross my fingers.

Hi Neil and thanks for starting the dialogue: I guess am looking for access to deliver FEEDBACK for Google LABS gTALK BETA. A friend and I both use gTalk to communicate and we downloaded the BETA from LABS. Neither one of us can copy.paste info into the BETA. Does this help?

ATTN TO FLOCK BETA Jack DAWS [I think is the name]. I installed this version of flock.

First flaw is having again to delete and throw out off my computer xpculen.**

Now got the photo uploader to work in this version.

Was online about 20 minutes and got this error message.

PS: flickr lets your make these flash-based [i think it's flash] annotated notes now that hover invisibly on top of photos until you mouse over and see a yellow post-it note. THESE objects worked better in the FLOCK website beta for download and are really hassling the mouse and cursor with this version.

I will be sending in lots of feedback and have questions very soon. Just installed tonite on WINDOWS Vista 64 bit DUO Core ACER with the only acceptable browser, FLOCK 2.0 Beta. You can thank Will Pate and Evan Hamilton for hooking us up and so far so good.

Clayton: I spent the weekend really exploring google tools and google mozilla add-ons then am using thes very successfully in my BETA Flock. before I install jack daw's version answer me :

How do I first backup and save the browser information including my current bookmarks, favorites, add-ons, et al

I would test drive another beta and must say even without the uploaded this new version is cruising like a sports car on the autobahn. SO I want to be able to return to this configuiration if disliking other versions.

Will my install of jack daw's BETA automatically import all those features I like and have now: or will I need to install againg?

Just wanted to drop a note this weekend that so far am having fantastic results with google.com tools made for mozilla or browser-integrated. Never delved so deep into google as did this weekend and am doing my own BETA testing on everything. Even contributing new product and service widgets to getsatisfaction.com/google.

Anyhow, the services that load in the browser and work extremely well include Notebook, Reader, Mozilla add-ons gButts [buttons or something like that name!]. Also gTalk is a great simple and clean IM that is fast to retrieve calls, mail but I chose the BETA version and you cannot copy/paste information into your IM. PRETTY major oversight considering more people IM urls than photos, etc.

Anyhow, hope you are all vibrant and sober and continue celebration of FLOCKs success story. It is a great read online.

I am sending my gTalk feedback to you here and just added this product to getsatisfation.com/google account.

Am pleased with the simplicity of previously downloaded gTalk and most features on the BETA gTalk. Am shocked that no one is FIXING the absence of ability to copy/paste into the BETA gTalk. Sharing files is great but in conversation, sharing website urls is probably more frequented by IM users. IT is virtually impossible to hand type most web urls with strings of coding nonsense.

SO GET ON IT! This should be fixed and updated in a day. PAY me to fix this bug! :)

Am on windows 64-bit system running beta flock and after removing pic lens and xpclucen, all is well. Until I went to upload photos to flickr and photobucket. I open the uploader, choose photos and then it proceeds no where not crashing FLOCK just stops or maybe spins it's wheels a time for an hour or more. BUT GOING NOWHERE there. SUPPORT?

Hello Microsoft: I am running Vista Ultimate Home edition and on 64 bit PC. I receive the same error message when attempting to install Vista SP1. The code is 800F801F.

I have been to many forums and read the threads and so far downloaded and installed KB932494 and am beginning to install the following..KB947821.

Any of your suggestions at this time would be helpful and I will update this very soon with my resulting attempt tonite at updating Vista SP1 on my computer.
