Hi Tim,
It looks like you just have your permissions setup incorrectly on your mysql database.
I would recommend install phpMyAdmin and then granting access to the sprinkles user on your DB.
One way to test your setup outside of helpcenter itself, launch the mysql command line client using the credentials you provided to your Helpcenter config. Something like:
mysql -usprinkles -p sprinkles -e 'select * from site_settings'
Hope that helps,
Scott

Hey Scott,
Thanks for your help. I had never made the templates_c folder. I had read that I needed the folder in the INSTALL file which came with the helpcenter, but it was never mentioned that this folder was needed in the installation instructions (http://getsatisfaction.com/tradetoday...).
Works well now, thanks
Scott Fleckenstein replied on May 29, 2008 06:18 to the problem "Trouble installing helpcenter" in Get Satisfaction:
Marat, having a blank screen on admin-findsite.php has been almost invariably bad permissions on the templates_c directory that smarty uses.
You need to make sure that templates_c is writable by your webserver process.
Short circuiting through directly to the admin page without first going through admin-findsite will fail in all sorts of ways, like you've seen. During that step we record the where you are serving the php from which is used to create the callbacks into your system from our side.
You may need to clear out the site_settings table since you went directly to the admin page.

Hi Tim -- Sorry about that. To clarify, you need to be in your company's GS area to see the admin link, eg: http://getsatisfaction.com/yourcompany – Amy Muller, on May 27, 2008 19:50
