Tim replied on November 25, 2009 16:28 to the question "Is it possible to use own invoice templates?" in Clear Books:
Here is how to use two logos:
Go to settings>toggles and turn on
Project invoices
Then naviagate to Reports > Projects.
You can upload different logos for different projects.
When you create an invoice if you select the relevant project the invoice will inherit the project logo.
What is your company called and I will investigate the logo size?

Tim replied on November 20, 2009 15:29 to the problem "Where is the 'No VAT' option on the drop-down menu?" in Clear Books:
Andrew's problem was specific to him being on a custom vat rate scheme which has the extra menu Settings > Sales Tax > List.
However, you can alter the vat rate associated with account codes in Settings > Codes.
If you are using the bank import tool, you can edit the vat_rate associated with a rule in Money > Import Tool > Rules

Tim replied on November 10, 2009 19:28 to the question "Petty cash and non-GBP expenses" in Clear Books:
1. I see where you are going with this... the max number that you can enter into any numerical field is 99,999,999
2. Navigate to Settings > Toggle Features. Under beta options ensure multi-currency is turned on. This requires that you select beta tester too.
Then when you got to expenses (or invoices or purchase invoices) there will be two extra fields to complete
- currency
- fx rate
Tim replied on November 10, 2009 19:22 to the question "How to Contra sales invoices" in Clear Books:
Contras are not currently supported.
Thinking about a temp work around you could set up a 'Contra Bank Account'. Then you could post the 115 received and the 57.5 due to it thus marking off both invoices as settled and giving a net of 57.5 in the Contra account. This could then be transferred to the main bank account that payment was made to. leaving Contra account at 0 and the bank account with the 57.5 payment in.
I will think about a more elegant solution. I guess you would want to be able to apply a purchase against a sales invoice in much the same way as one does for a credit note, to reduce the balance.

Tim replied on November 10, 2009 11:20 to the question "When you spend money why are you asked for Amount in two places?" in Clear Books:
It is currently a usability flaw that will be addressed soon.
But it is so that you can add an overall amount e.g. £100 received and then build up sub-invoices of different amounts that are contained within the overall payment.
e.g. four different invoices of £25 each that make up the one payment amount. So the sub amounts would in turn be entered in the second box.
