Customizable links
This idea is probably already on your drawing board... It would be great to customize the links in the popup. Amazon and google are usually my first choices too, but there are other shopping and search engine choices.

I wouldn't like the idea of making everything I clip available publicly. I could be shopping for gifts, or researching something for a future product feature. I also don't really want to know that someone clipped "Catherine Zeta Jones naked" or something. (not that I would ever do that, ahem) On the other hand, I would want to share some of what I clip.

Why not have a Public/Private tag that the user can toggle for each item in the clipboard? A setting could determine which is the default when a new item is added to the clipboard.
