Afraid not. I ended up having to go back to Apple to ask them reauthorise the download of all the files that I had bought before. So it was a painful recovery.

How do I get Apple TV to sync with a restored iTunes library?
I recently restored my iTunes library to a new PC (the old PC died on me). I want my existing Apple TV to sync with the restored library without wiping my Apple TV. I have movies/music which I bought on the Apple TV which I do not want to lose. Is there a setting I can change so that Apple TV sees the new PC as the same old library that it used to sync with?
