A comment on the idea "Twones as Facebook Application" in Twones:
It's getting off topic, but I think you would like to try this facebook application instead. It works great for me. http://apps.facebook.com/listening/ – Timelezz, on October 14, 2009 18:47

Just found this incredible program from DVDVideosoft. It lets you also download full youtube playlists. In comparison with TubeSucker this program is Free, and easier to use. http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/free-dvd-...

Twones as Facebook ApplicationThe only reason why I keep track of my listening, is that I would like to share it with other friends. So when can I expect an application for Facebook where I can show off what I listened?

Miro does not remember the view for the 'video Library'OS: Win XP SP3
Miro: 2.5.1 (r9904)
Miro does not remember the view for the 'video Library'. I always have to choose "Not Seen" manually. But it does always get back to "All videos" when I restart Miro.

Miro downloading 20 videos, to only fill one spot.OS: Win XP SP3
Miro: 2.5.1 (r9904)
For a channel I have set that Miro does not download new episodes when I have 3 videos to be watched. But when I watch one video (making it 2 unwatched videos), Miro starts downloading 20 new videos! Why doesn't Miro just try for one at a time?
Timelezz replied on July 30, 2009 08:05 to the idea "Idea: Download youtube and hulu videos" in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro):
I have a solution to add a Youtube channel to Miro. You can use Gdata and insert this as a feed to Miro.
To my experience, watching Youtube channels is the best to do within a TV-player like Miro. Once you have Miro, you can add channels by adding the RSS-feeds. For Youtube Channels you can add this feed:
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/us...
The only thing you change per channel is replacing USERNAME with the individual name of the channel. And then you add it to Miro as a feed.
Some of my favorite Youtube Channels I follow are:
* Sciencentral - for videonews on popular science
http://www.youtube.com/user/sciencentral
* Videojug - Life explained in funny videos
http://www.youtube.com/user/videojug
* Danispies - Enhancing my cooking experience
http://www.youtube.com/user/danispies
* Futureshorts - Great for watching artistic short movies
http://www.youtube.com/user/futureshorts
Enjoy :)

I don't want to choose! If so, I would be using Youtube instead. The thing people love about Miro is that you watch all your favorite episodes in one stream! – Timelezz, on July 24, 2009 08:22
Timelezz replied on July 24, 2009 08:15 to the idea "Nothing is older than yesterday's news" in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro):
second this Idea. I've put this forward as a question http://getsatisfaction.com/participat...
I use Miro because it's convenient as watching television. I have it
already sorted on date making with the most recent video on top. But
it still means, I need to delete all other (6?) videos from the same
channel by hand. Actually I want to watch all downloaded (prefferred)
episodes after one other in Miro. That makes Miro for me. If I didn't
want a continious stream, I could also watch these videos also on
Youtube. So for me it's vital for using Miro that I don't have to
readjust things manually when watching.
I notice that Miro gives great support to people who want to watch all
episodes of a channel from one point in it. But the support for people
who want to watch only the most recent episode (no matter the older
videos) is lacking. I reposted my question on Getsatisfaction
http://getsatisfaction.com/participat...
Another question of another user seems related

Hope this helps making Miro better and usable for more users.
Timelezz asked a question in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro) on July 23, 2009 22:41:
How to let Miro ONLY show the latest video?I use the software Miro to watch the latest News. So I only want to see the latest video of. The other (older) videos I like to be non-downloaded or deleted. In short: I need a setting where I only see 1 video (even when there are more older videos).

I installed the Test 3, but it didn't work out for me. I don't get the error message anymore, but I don't get Miro on screen either. Any suggestions? I sent the log file to the stated email address. I run WinXP SP3 on a Intel Core TM 2 Duo CPU – Timelezz, on July 23, 2009 21:55-
