I was finally able to block MrTweet. I waited a while, unblocked MrTweet, then started following MrTweet again from scratch. I got a fresh acknowledgment DM, saying I'd get my recommendations in 4.0 days. Hopefully it'll work this time.

No, this hasn't been resolved. I saw that I fell in the period when no new signups were being served, so I thought that I'd get caught up. But still nothing weeks later. I've tried unfollowing and following several times: nothing. I've even tried to Block Mr Tweet and try signing up again, but I'm not able to block it (Twitter fails).

Timinator reported a problem in Mr. Tweet on December 10, 2008 13:30:

No recommendations from MrTweet

Mr Tweet isn't working for me. It said "4.5 days to give me suggestions", that was well over a week ago. I've tried removing and re-adding MrTweet as a friend, but to no avail.

I now see that people are getting their recommendations very quickly. But nothing for me!

Same thing happening to me. AIR did the upgrade to 1.1 this morning, and asked me to close twhirl (0.8.2) to do so, which I did. After AIR install complete, I ran twhirl again. It opened fine, but with no new tweets shown in twhirl from my last login (which was almost 15 hours ago - login to twitter via web confirms there are dozens of new tweets).

Have toggled "Hide messages from previous sessions" a couple of times, but it's still not picking up new tweets from friends - confirmed via web that there are, in fact, new tweets. At some point, twhirl popped up all my old dm's: not sure why.

Twhirl has shown my own new tweet, but still none from others. Have shut down twhirl and re-started a couple of times.

Have hit refresh on twhirl a couple of times, still no tweets.

OS: Win XP
