My only concern would be the hit on system resources... :) – Timothy, on September 10, 2009 18:15

Tweaks and Humble SuggestsCouple recommendations...
Most important, keep Boxee simple and light in system requirements...good job! Aside from this...
First, when we go to an "artist" media and there is only one (1) album under that artist, I'd like to see it default to the listing of tracks instead of having to click again to get there as in the case of multiple albums for an individual artist. Also, creating and saving play lists would be nice.
Second, on the movie information...instead of the five star portrayals...I'd like to see a connection to the IMDb site for that type of information (which gives a really good vote on any particular movie due to its popularity), along with a link to that site (perhaps). I'd also like to see a list of actors under each movie...and if it won any awards.
Third, I'd like to see a comprehensive search feature for movies what would in effect let me choose movies of any rating, IMDb rating value, movies by awards and or actor(s) in a movie (or any combination) so when it searches only those movies come up. I'll also be able to search for any keywords in that movies description. Additionally, not unlike IMDb, to be able to “click” on that award, or actor, or director and bring up a list of just those movies would also be great.
Fourth, I’d like to be able to use visualizations I have bought, like G-Force (one of the best), with my music.
Fifth, I’d like to be able to input the ISBN of a movie to help attach the exact cover art and description for that movie or its special edition. Right now it seems pretty generic (in others words an extended edition of Riddick only has the standard art work). Take a look at Movie Collectorz as an example of this established method.
I’d also like to see the file size of a movie in its detail info; keep it small by stating only the fraction MB (i.e. 700.1 Mb) if under a Gb, and only the fractional GB if over one Gig. This helps tell me if a movie is a standard rip or an HD or BR rip. Otherwise, the before mentioned ISDN number would show this speficially too...but I'd still like the file size.
I’d also like to see a skin which “mimics” the look of Media Center; owning a home theater company this would be an excellent product. Don’t forget to look into Lifeware type modifications so one can also employ "whole house automation" into this too.
Thanks and good work so far!!

Clean Interface; Low Overhead; FastClean yet low resource hog. Good speed which makes Windows Media Player look bad indeed; along with Media Center; even networked movies work well!!-

Screen ShotsI have sent many screen shots in but none of them have shown up yet? I am sending png file formats from SnagIt 9. How long does it take for shots to show up?
