I have this problem too. Rajan, Alt+Tab then close does not close the window. Boris, double clicking the egg only minimizes the window, same as hide.

This window appears when you click on the video file in a library to play.

You can close the window either by clicking on Hide button in a upper right corner or by double-click on Egg icon in upper left corner.

Press Alt + Tab the press tab to scroll over to the desktop. now right click on the cheezy window and press close

Weeeird. I think the video window doesn't have a way of closing it because it's supposed to automatically appear when you need it and disappear when you don't. If you see this again it would be great if you could file a bug and send us the contents of the "Error Console" that you can access from the Tools menu.

I'm on XP SP2. And it certainly does spend most of its time hiding - in 6 months of using songbird, I've never seen it. :P

I don't have any video in the library so I don't think I was playing any video. The thing is even if I was and then stopped it, there didn't seem any clear way to close the window. A restart of Songbird has done the trick but it would be nice to know how to close it without a restart.

The Cheezy Video Window is definitely not new - it's been there since before I joined the project a year and a half ago! It just tends to spend most of its time hiding :)

It should only be visible while you're playing back video. Is it showing up at other times? What operating system are you using?

How do I close the Cheezy Video Window? It seems to be a new addition in the 0.6.1 release and does not seem to have a "close" function. Slightly annoying if you ask me. Also, any clicking in the video window stops the track in main Songbird.
