HI. How can I get my 2nd gen Shuffle to recharge? The light is either blinking, or it's 'ejected' and doesn't charge...??

Hello all, I've just installed the latest Songbird on xp, and have followed the directions in other topics to get my ipod shuffle (2nd gen) connected for sync. That is all fine. However, I cannot seem to get it to recharge via usb. Any suggestions?? (If it matters, I don't have itunes installed)
