Sorry for the trouble you're having. We've been experiencing heavy traffic the last couple of hours so something may have gotten lost or corrupt. I suggest trying again.
Also, if you want, email the presentation to us at feedback@280north.com and we'll look into it.

Ah, the Chinese drip torture strategy for getting third party product teams to prioritize your feature requests. Very clever! – Thor Muller, on July 28, 2008 22:16

Thankfully, Rob, you're the only one who has made this request of me so sure! email me as much as you like. ;)
Seriously, though, yeah, in the short term, if you need tag clean-up that's how we'll have to deal with it. You can send an email to info@ and that will get to me as well as our community manager, eric, (and thor & lane too). One of us will be able to help you out at any given time.
And this is definitely a problem we want to solve. It just has to happen in the context of the bigger picture we're working on.

While I'd love to just say "Sure! Of course, we'll get right on it!" the reality of the situation is that this specific request will likely be solved within the next few months, rather than the next few weeks.
I'm beginning some major work on the structure of how people relate to the companies and products in Get Satisfaction. Part of that work will be defining the roles, and therefore permissions that each person has in a particular context. Those roles and permissions will affect who can edit tags, as well as a host of other things. I have a feeling that we'll address your concerns about tag editing within the scope of that work.
Amy Muller replied on July 28, 2008 19:54 to the question "Tag Typo" in Get Satisfaction:
Understood. There has actually been a lot of talk recently about the level of control company reps have and how we can best meet their needs while also adhering to our basic philosophies. We are currently working on more moderation tools and will continue to evolve these as we go. I'll be sure we discuss tag-editing.
