To reset your phone number at present, send an email to support@qik.com with your username, old and new phone number.
We are looking at providing the ability to change the phone number from the Edit Profile page
A comment on the question "iPhone: Can't receive SMS for activation!" in Qik:
When you first sign up for qik a splash page appears with a URL you can go to in your phones browser. So the screen will say something like "Please wait for a text, or visit http://qik.com/randomstuffhere in your mobile browser". The gibberish that appears where "randomstuffhere" is will be your authentication code that you put into the iPhone app. – tokyomonster, on August 14, 2008 15:07

I was having the same issue. They must be getting hammered, because the videos I thought weren't being recorded are all now showing up. I'm guessing they can only stream x amount live, and everything else gets uploaded and queued. Give it time, and be careful.. if you hit record it IS recording, regardless of whether it's showing on the web site or not.

I have the same issue. The suffix to the url they give you that you can activate in a browser, IE http://qik.com/t3st123 is your activation code. Put that in your iPhone app and you'll be set!

I think I had been having the same problem. If I looked at twitter online I could see 15 updates, but through twinkle, I'd only see maybe about 4-5 out of those 15. Not sure why. Going into twitter account settings in twinkle and entering in gibberish for the username and password, and then re-entering my account settings cleared the issue up.
