It seems to be fixed, at least on my Windows XP box running Firefox 3.0.1 with Ubiquity 0.1.1.

Mozilla doesn't officially support plugins - it's up to the plugin designer to write code that works with official Mozilla stuff, not the other way around.

Although that does suck, and hopefully when Ubiq is out of alpha, or maybe even before that, this kind of thing won't happen anymore. The dangers of using alpha software... =/

Since installing Ubiquity on Firefox 3.x my Google Bookmarks no longer function, and the icon that usually shows green (signed in) is gray.

Thanks very much for pointing this out. I have put in an update to the errata page for the book to mention this typo (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/978059...), and it will be fixed in the next printing of the book.
