Hi Samscam
There is quite a good magazine available already - FQ Magazine. You can subscribe here: http://www.fqmagazine.co.uk/
I know the guys that run it, and it's a pretty decent product.
All the best
Tom

I agree - the possibilities of a big family network are endless.
I've been watching parenting sites for over 10 years, and they usually get dominated by mums very quickly. Dads stay away, because they can be quite an intimidating place, and, let's be honest, they're usually pink or purple and talk about "You and your pregnancy".
Parenting is code for mothering. Just look at the magazines. Designed for mums.
So you can either have a 'mums' site, a 'parents' site (which is really a mums site) or a 'dads' site. No one has developed a real parents site yet (with equal participation from mums and dads).
But here's the rub:
If all the dads get on board, we could probably get the mums to join too, later.
If we started with 'parents' or 'mums', the dads would never come.
And yes... I think dads do appreciate somewhere that's just for them, and we've got a slightly different mode of communication. Mums like big long conversations - you've just got to look at bulletin board sites like mumsnet.com to see this. This model has never really been taken up in big numbers by dads, so we're building the system as a very bespoke tool for dads at the moment.
We're working out a wide range of ways in which mums and other relatives can get involved - for example, by updating your kids status while you're at work.

Hi Crispness
My apologies for a spelling mistake - it's gravatar.com - if you right click your photo on Odadeo and click "view image", you'll see that the photo is hosted at www.gravatar.com - I hope that clears up the confusion

Tom asked a question in Odadeo on November 10, 2008 22:19:
The Odadeo questionWhat is the right question for Odadeo to ask?
1. How am I going to be a better dad?
2. How am I going to be a great dad?
3. How am I going to be a dad?
Any other ideas?
