At the moment when you deauth an application with Fire Eagle I *believe* that you just throw your various details away on your side. If you want, you can take the approach that Sparrow does and just go through the auth process again. Seth would be able to give you more in depth help on this one, but unfortunately he's out of the office at the moment.

Hey there - I work on Fire Eagle and we're exploring this issue as we speak. You guys are the first to report it. I'm having some trouble finding a way to deauthorize Voila to try the auth process from the beginning again. Mathieu is there any easy way for me to do this? I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app without luck.

Tom Coates replied on December 12, 2008 03:00 to the question "Can I just have my location show up in news feed items?" in Fire Eagle:
So here's the problem. You might want to share your location with everyone you know on Facebook. But on the other hand, you might start accidentally sharing your location with a whole bunch of people you only know in a vague way as a contact or a friend of a friend.
The ideal situation is, I think, that we gesturally indicate a limited number of times a day that you are updating your location if they've not got FOF permissions, and show them the exact location if they do. Let me dig into this in a bit more detail and see how deeply we've explored this and where our current thinking is.
Tom Coates replied on December 11, 2008 04:05 to the question "Not living up to it's potential. Why so little integration?" in Fire Eagle:
Honestly, the decision to not integrate heavily with a lot of Yahoo properties straightaway has been taken by the team. We want to make sure that the app is as clear as possible and that we're meeting the needs of the wider developer community before we put Fire Eagle front and centre in front of one of the world's biggest audiences. You only get one chance to make a first impression and we're determined to make the most of it. We're growing it slowly and organically in the meantime.
You may have seen our Friends on Fire application. That's one of the apps we've been doing to get people excited, along with the integrations with Pownce, Six Apart, Outside.in and all the others in the gallery. Integrations with Flickr will happen, and with the rest of Yahoo after that, but one step at a time. Remember, we only launched Fire Eagle to the public in August and we've already got nearly sixty apps in the gallery!

Formatting in Invitations interface is confusingThe way the invitations are formatted makes it hard to tell if something is highlighted or whether they're pending - ie. if someone has added me, then it looks like they're highlighted in the interface. Generally weirdness here. Talk to me for more examples.

Link to Get Satisfaction opens in iFrameWhen you click to go through to Get Satisfaction, it opens in the same frame on Facebook rather than in the full window.

Signal didn't appear at the place I was at.I sent a signal from the place I was at using the alert at the bottom when I moved, and the signal didn't appear on the map.

Marker is at the bottom. The marker displaying where I am is normally behind everything else. Shouldn't it be on the top?

People sometimes displayed in clusters and individually. The same people are displayed twice on the map every so often - once individually and once in groups. Normaly this happens when you zoom in or out.
