Thanks John. It does just take awhile for it to launch but it will after a couple of minutes. I don't think it likes Suitcase.

Office programs stop responding during start up on a mac
When I try to open Office 2008 on my Mac, every one of the programs stops responding during start up and i have to force quit. How can I fix this?
