I've also been having problems trying to make PBworks display HTML code on a page ("show code as code") to no avail. Even using the HTML/JavaScript widget. "code" and "pre" don't work either way. There are problems converting code using Postable (http://www.elliotswan.com/postable/).

Any tips for posting code onto PBworks pages?

Is there any news on the promised "gardening tools"? Finding orphaned pages would be an excellent feature. We're about to build what could be a very large wiki indeed, created by a lot of people new to this paradigm, and it would be helpful for their to be tools to allow us to keep an eye on things... (people may create new pages, but forget to link them like they're supposed to)

I like GetSatisfaction's interface, and nice to be able to browse other people's questions - a kind of self-building FAQ. Some of my other questions had already been answered.

I found the PBworks account via Google. Since I'm already registered here, seemed like a good place to ask a quick question. Please keep using it!

Thanks for that - it works well if you type in your query then hit enter, but doesn't stop the images from showing up in the live search results.

Nonetheless, I'll pass that tip onto the workspace users!

Any chance I can register as a feature request the ability to exclude certain file types from search? :-)

I've created a few large pages automatically from Word documents. They contain quite a few images, which display well in the workspace page. However, each individual image within the original Word document is extracted and saved as a file, viewable in the file browser and in search. As PBworks automatically renames these images based upon the title of the original Word file, I have hundreds of similarly named JPEGs littering the file browser, and 'polluting' the search results.

Is there a way to exclude images from the workspace search?

How do folks deal with linking to pages when your wiki has hundreds of them?

I'm approaching a hundred pages in our wiki, and linking to another page is getting rather cumbersome: I select some text that I want to link from, then if I haven't edited the page I want to link to recently, I have to click "show all xx pages" and scroll through a list of all pages which appear to be ordered by date of last edit, rather than alphabetically.

Our aim is to have many, many more pages, and this could soon become a big problem for us.

Am I missing a trick here? Can we navigate pages by folder when creating links? If so, how?

Any tips gratefully received :-)

I agree wholeheartedly with DJEJ about filtering @replies - i.e. alert me only when someone replies, but let me browse my whole Twitter stream too.

Otherwise, like Fring does, my phone would be beeping at me every couple of minutes, which essentially makes it useless...

I'd love very simple WordPress functionality, and I think that it would be very popular.

To be able to post simple text to my blog from EventBox, and see a stream of comments would be most excellent.

One of the simple reasons I use Twitter so much is because I always have EventBox (and before that other clients) running in the corner of my desktop.

WordPress integration would be utterly amazing.

You're right! It was set to use Bit.ly (the default?) which obviously wasn't working correctly. I've changed it to use tr.im and it now works nicely.

URL Shortening broken in r552

I'm running the trial of EventBox, and I've found that URL shortening has stopped working. It used to work fine, but after the last update, it doesn't work even if I highlight the URL and choose Edit > Shorten URL or by the keyboard shortcut. Anything I can try to get it working again?
