and you're here as well - you get around Beach!
12seconds user id is zoetrope, and the phone is a Nokia N73 on a provider called '3' here - they use the Telstra coverage as a backup to their own. In other words if I stray out of their net I am picked up by Telstra.
Because I am an obsessive I have tried it, very early on in 12seconds life, in both networks and it seems to have no problems. There's no doubt the phone handles it because I mail straight in to Blip.tv as well.
Of course you'll figure it out - you have to - I need my 12 seconds
Regards
Bruce

Beach, thanks so much for being on the case. It's REALLY good to know that we've been heard and that someone is actually trying to do something about it. You guys get major points for effort.
I would have never guessed the problem to be the headset! Who knew? Oh, well, I guess you did.
I hope that you can get it sorted out. But thank you for even trying!

okay sailor... i see all of these now. no need to reply to the earlier questions...
First, I'm totally sorry that this is happening.
The problem is that there are conflicts with Logitech hardware and the adobe flash recorder. This is a larger issue than just 12seconds and we're trying to work with Adobe to figure it out. Luckily I have friends in high places there.
As far as the mobile posts are concerned, i'm not sure what the issue is.
What is your 12seconds userid? I'd like to take a look. Perhaps there is some process that is getting kluged because of the webcam issue that is messing with your mobile posts. Not certain. I'll have our engineer take a gander.
One final question... what is your phone type and cell phone service provider? This would also help us debug.
Again. so so so sorry that you are having all these problems... you're amazing to keep trying and to help us by using satisfaction. Thank you so much!
We'll figure it out (i hope)

... I have just recorded an update and it is promising it is posting - CPU usage is 11% on FF3, and we both know it's never going to get there. I like doing futile things. And... when I get tired of staring at that screen I will click 'everyones' and let the 'post it' page drop out gracefully - I'm nice like that.
Latest 12 updates shows the titles and the broken image icon, but there's no body home.

...and I have tried dumping cache - no change. Other thing it seems to do is grab camera and microphone and not give it back, as in you don't get to use video or sound on any other site. Doesn't bother me too much because I am trained to crash the browser to get out on the 'post it' lock, which means I start with a clean camera and microphone.
Last time 12 seconds worked for me was last week when I emailed two 3gp movies from my desktop rather than through the phone - since then it has been a basket case.
