I've been having this problem for the past few hours (3rd October, 2008 @ 10pm CDT). I keep trying to re-email each photo with little success.

Hi moses3k, these actually are unrelated issues. The problem brought up in this thread was related to breaking a feature that previously existed. That issues has been solved. The idea you're bringing up is a feature that has never existed. I'm happy to create a new idea topic for you, because I think it's a good suggestion. This issue, due to a change in the twitter API was fixed in the 0.8.6 release. If you have additional related issues please open a new thread.

I do appreciate the help and comments of all you guys. But in my opinion my issue is quite the same as this thread's title.

I'm not the type of hardcore-coder but obviously my problem and the one discussed so far have similar if not same reasons - don't you agree?

No it doesn't. I can't request to follow people with protected updates. And I got 0.8.6.

FYI, version 0.8.6 fixes this. It's available as an update via the client itself and on the website.

As expected I am having the same issue, but whats worst with OS X is Firefox just complains that you are trying to have more then one instance of FF 3 so for me I cant open any link.

that's interesting. i've been having problems with all my air apps opening url's into text editors (coda).

just switched my system default browser from firefox to safari and all's fine now.

I get the same “API limit exceeded” error when creating favourites.

I see Loic doesn't use favourites much. If you don't use the feature yourself, and you can't rely on Twitter's API stability, I recommend you run weekly unit tests against some dummy accounts.

I have this problem, but with identi.ca - same API... same problem? Just wanted you to know so the engineers are sure to check both. :-)
