Thanks :)
Why couldn't this be included in the help files somewhere? It's still in the twitter blogs...frustrating *sigh* – tripleanagram, on March 01, 2009 00:38
tripleanagram replied on February 28, 2009 03:14 to the discussion "How would you prefer to report Twitter spam?" in Twitter:
Some of the suggestions above are pretty good. I'd add that I really *don't* like the way it works now--it takes too long to go to the person's profile, see the spam, and copy their username, then send a dm to the spam profile. It would be good to consolidate these tasks (following one of the examples above).
Also, I don't know if this is feasible, but is it possible to flag a string as spam? (e.g. if many spammers are all sending "I just found this fantastic free Macbook Air deal and it was just the best thing ever, check it out here: [link]" and then following 500 people, could you somehow implement a temporary account block on accounts that send a tweet like that?)
Anything so that, in one day, I don't get followed by four-ish spammers.
tripleanagram reported a problem in Twitter on February 28, 2009 03:06:
Track Command Not Recognized - tweets insteadTwitter didn't recognize the track command from SMS. For example: I sent "Track SEPTA" from my phone, and instead of starting to track, it posted "Track SEPTA" to my twitter feed.
