A comment on the question "Podcasts" in Songbird:
If you, like me, have a kinda large CD-collection and wants to listen to it on your music player of choice, then you need a CD-ripper. And instead of moving from one application to another, it is nice to have it all in one package. – Trond, on October 30, 2009 23:50

I can't wait for the rip'n burn feature. When this comes I will remove Banshee, Floola and all other programs that I have now used for this.
Songbirds benefits over the other programs:
Banshee is slow and the ripping feature is a bit buggy (not all CD Metadata is extracted, so then I have to use Sound Juicer for that...). Right now Banshee is my default iPod-organizer, but that'll change when I feel Songbird is where it should be.
Floola is good, fast and such, but some of the UI-design isn't as good as for Songbird.
I would too pay for Songbird for Linux. It's all about having a program that is stable, fast and does what you expect the program to do.
Will ripping be added in May? In the roadmap it seems to have been moved later in the year.
Keep up the good work!
