Troy Jensen asked a question in SuperMegaUltraGroovy on February 15, 2009 18:39:
Intelligibility Measurements? This is a great program but despite it's benefits I find it somewhat lacking in a few areas. Most notably the lack of some way to measure intelligibility. Certainly the basic functions of Frequency Response and RT60 measurements are done well but often in my work I need some way of measuring a metric of intelligibility. STI (RaSTI, STIPA), %Alcons etc. Any thought on including some form of this type of measurement in future additions?
Also, I have sent some email which has gone unanswered including questions regarding registration which are not appropriate for listing here. Is there an alternate method of contact you prefer for this type of correspondence?
A comment on the question "Use impedance plugin to measure system instead of driver?" in SuperMegaUltraGroovy:
Depending on the number of loudspeakers and the tap settings of the transformers, it could range from values similar to that of single driver and upward to a few thousand ohms. – Troy Jensen, on February 04, 2009 02:39
A comment on the question "Use impedance plugin to measure system instead of driver?" in SuperMegaUltraGroovy:
Would there be any limitation to measuring higher impedance circuits like those which you might encounter on a 70V commercial system? – Troy Jensen, on February 04, 2009 01:57
