Facebook, Flickr, Feeds and Twitter. I could definitely give up Facebook if you think that's the problem. But the way EventBox has been acting with this build (hanging up, being able to use the app without it being in focus) makes me think it might be a bigger issue than that.
Though it looks like I'm the only one having this problem eh? Maybe trash preferences and start over?
Thanks!

Is there a reason for the 250 event limit?Just wondering if this is a technical issue or one you all have decided on so as not to hammer the API's.
I miss a lot of stuff from Twitter if I leave it for a while because it gets pushed off the bottom of the pane.
Would be nice if the cache size were made larger so as to capture everything I've missed.

tsondermann replied on November 21, 2008 00:15 to the idea "Bulk delete" in my6sense:
Got hung up on an OPML import of about 1,000 feeds, but imported same number from gReader without a problem.
You might also consider syncing with gReader and Newsgator (which syncs with NetNewsWire). While I'm sure people will enjoy having their recommended messages float to the top during a quick iPhone check, they'll likely not want to re-read that when they get back to a proper reader.

Bulk deleteI've imported my feeds from gReader and I'm pretty sure that my6 is choking on the number of feeds. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to bulk delete, or to delete all and start over again. It would take quite some time to delete the feeds one by one. Would be nice to be able to check all the feeds I'd like to delete and have them bilk deleted.
Thanks.

Some thoughts for improvement.Love the rapid development. A few things I've noticed that would make EventBox a better experience for me. Based on what I've seen thus far, you might have thought of all these.
On a MacBook, 10.5.4, 2.2 Core Duo, 4GB RAM
Add toggle for live-updating. If I'm in the middle of reading and new things come in, they get shifted around.
Cache events locally. Without some sort of pagination or holding of events (particularly if you follow too many people on twitter like me) I miss a fair amount of tweets. Would be nice to be able to scroll through all of my tweets without the last ones being pushed off the page.
More services. Obviously. Would love delicious. RSS is nice, but interactivity is better.
Entry box seems a bit laggy?
If entry box is minimized and I click to Reply to a tweet, the box should pop up. Better yet, replies, etc. should be inline.
Used to start up immediately. Now takes minutes to start up.
Flickr photos with similar/identical upload times should all display inline, instead of one photo at a time. Could save a lot of screen real estate.
Take me to first unread button? Greyed out look for read is nice, but would save some scrolling.
Tooltips?
Groups for twitter.
Allow user control of coloring events. i.e. if I want every tweet from usernameX to show up orange, that'd be great.
User control of type, type size.
Probably enough to chew on for now... Keep up the excellent work y'all.

Truncation of "About Me" section in lastest release is disappointing.I use chimp.mp as a virtual calling card, so the most important bits to me are the "about me" and the "where to find me" sections.
I could care less about the lifestreaming bits.
While the new release does a most excellent job of consolidating Contacts and Where to find me, the truncation of the About Me section at the expense of more lifestreaming updates, loses a lot of the appeal for me.
Perhaps I just use it differently? What do others think?
tsondermann asked a question in chi.mp on September 26, 2008 11:04:
Will I get notified if one of my contacts joins chi.mp?Now that my contacts are being imported, will I be alerted somehow if one of hem joins chi.mp so that we might connect on there as well?
