I think this is a wonderful idea. It would be great if the ebooks could be differentiated from print books both in the database and visually (a diagonal ribbon across the top corner of the cover for example).

Is barcode scanning from the iPhone on the horizon? That would fully round out the killerness of this app.

I agree. I should be able to choose who I support. Heck, maybe I want to support me! Now I have to change every link by hand. How lame is that? Pretty lame!
