The API Limiter has been removed. The API Limiter has been removed. All users will now follow at max 5 other users per following round in our queue. We did this because members with high following rates would skew the growth of the system and also get angry when their following to follower ratio was way off.
With the new limit in place the network will grow a bit slower but much more evenly.

Please provide your user names and I'll take a look. I have recently got married and had to take a leave of absence from TweepMe. We are a one person operation. Please keep that in mind.
We are not a fraudulent company, our support has just been lacking for the past month.
I will remedy this situation as soon as I receive your usernames.

The API Limiter determines how many members YOU will follow each time your turn comes up in the queue, not how many followers will follow you. The minimum this can be set to is 5, the max is 100. New accounts are set at 30 by default.
We have this feature so that if you are using other Twitter API based applications, you can save some of your API calls for them.
Over time you'll follow everyone in the system, so to speed the process along we recommend setting this to a higher setting rather than a lower one. However, you may see a skewed following to follower ratio during the short term with a higher setting. Over a few weeks, this would flatten to be relatively even.

Your account is flagged as inactive which means you've either not completed the payment process, or you've manually deactivated your account.
Please provide your Paypal transactionID to admin@tweepme.com if you have already paid and we'll reinstate your account.
If you have not yet paid, then log in to TweepMe and complete the payment and your account should come on-line.

tweepme replied on June 07, 2009 14:37 to the question "Changed password/username" in TweepMe:
We are unable to swap accounts/change user names as our algorithm relies on historical data to determine whether or not a connection has been made. By changing your user name you will not receive the follows that you've already received with the username you registered with.
We recommend registering a fresh account with the new username so that you can maximize the service for the new username.-
