Cool! Here is what you need to do now.
1) On your forum page - drag and drop an HTML widget
2) The HTML editor dialog box will open up and you will see some default text in the dialog box. Delete that first!
3) paste the following
<!--
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=http://coe3b.forumotion.net">
-->
NB: Do not add the < !-- and the -- >. I only add that to stop Get Satisfaction doing funny things with the code.
I have set your redirect to zero, so it will go straight to your forum. You can change this to 1 or 2 if you prefer a slight delay.
To test that everything is working, save and preview your page. I tested it and it worked - so you should be ok.
See the screenshot below to see exactly what the code needs to look like in the HTML editor.
Good luck! Let me know if you have any trouble.

Hi jm
It sounds like you are on the right track. You have your forum page and you have created your forum. Now you need to get the URL (web address) for your forum. Can you post that here for me? Then I will edit the code for you and tell you exactly what you need to paste into the HTML widget in Synthasite.

Hi jm
Can you tell me what problems you are having and what forum you are using? You could embed your forum in your SynthaSite page using an iframe: which means pasting a bit of code so that your forum appears right on you SynthaSite page. Or you could use the redirect I suggested above.
Let me know what forum service you used and what problems you are having and I will do my best to help!

Hi Ty
It is possible to do this with a little bit of HTML. Try the following:
1) Create a new page with the name of the site you want to link to
2) Drag and Drop an HTML widget onto your page
3) paste this tag over the default tags in the HTML editor:
<!--
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="2;url=http://webdesign.about.com">
-->
"2" is how many seconds it waits before it redirects
"url" is the url it redirects to, so replace the url in the above tag with the one for the site you want to link to.
NB: When you add the code, do not include the < !-- and the -- > I have above. These are just to stop Get Satisfaction from trying to interpret the code!
Let me know if you have any trouble with this.
Best wishes
Monique

linking page buttonsI've created a page on my site called 'blog' - I'd like for that page button to link directly to my blogger page. Is that possible?
