Mobile IM is installed by default. You need to go under Messaging on the phone (the place your inbox is). it is usually the last one on the list.-

First, every sole cell phone on every carrier is "GPS enabled" as required by the FCC. At a minimum they must have E911 compliant.
Second, Blackberry Maps is not "Built-in and just disabled" it is not available period on the 8830 per RIM
Thats what VZnav is for. Which by the way , is freakin awesome. -

Verizon Wireless does not block ANY sms unless you ask them to. Maybe your Brightkite is broken. -

Will not play musicsometimes (including right now) my songbird refuses to play any music. It see all my music, but weather i double-click on the file or just click on the play button, it will not play. It has an icon next to the file like it is playing but no sound and nothing displaying in the area where the counter would be. I have verifed both sound is working the the mp3 and ogg are functioning because other programs can play the exact same files. I am using the latest "blessed Build" on 64-bit Ubuntu 8.04
