These are commonly referred to as "magic words". Unfortunately, at the moment only one magic word can be used at a time, and they all refer to the same text. This is certainly something we're looking to make big improvements on.
In regards to "url" working for the tinyurl command, that's a special case that only applies to that command. I know this is very inconstant, and eventually you'll be able to use "url" (and other magic words) with all commands. -

Since there seems to be issues with other applications using the data from Twitter that's over 140 characters, this will be fixed in the next release. -

Although Twitter says it has a 140 character limit, it will actually allow you to send up to 160 characters. Its just not guaranteed to look pretty on the Twitter website. -

Yes, this is planned. It would also allow communication between other natural language applications such as Quicksilver and Enso. -

I believe there is someone looking into the possibility of porting Ubiquity to both Thunderbird and Songbird. Although I don't have any additional information on this yet. -

If I remember right, Enso implemented that also - and Ubiquity borrows a lot of ideas from there. It worked quite well, so its a definite possibility. -
